Hey Hey all I have escaped the bush

One more time with this post. The internet randomly disappears around here so I hope to make it this time. Thank you all for your prayers and support is working as you will read soon. We are currently spending our third day in Bamboi, which if I can choose a word to discribe it I would go with HOT.

The kids are all doing great though I have to say I am more than impressed. Right now they are putting on a VBS for about 600 children and believe me they are doing a great job. Last night we went to Jama and minstered to about 500 people with about 400 of them being children. When Steve gave the alter call about 300 hands went up. It was awesome, our drama is the best idea we have come up with in a long time, it communicates the gospel so well. The chief of Jama said afterward that this was the first time someone from the outside has come into the village and preached in a way that people could understand. It was a very powerful night. Ron was really feeling sick in his stomach, but he still did his part in the drama anyways, and after that when Steve called for salvation, he said a warmth come over him, and no it was on top of the warmth coming over all of us, and he was instantly healed.

Our schedule has been rearranged twice already but it is all right because TIA. This is Africa. We went Hippo hunting, with cameras, last night but failed. Please pray that we get to see great animals soon, it would mean so much for the kids.

I have been instructed to post specifically to Philip that if you don't post a comment for your wife by the next time I log on, she is going to except the marriage purposal that she recieved in the village yesterday, so buddy don't say I didn't warn you!

It looks like I will not find the internet again until Monday sometime, but who knows as fast as things change around here it could happen sooner. Again thank you for your support and be praying for God's word to spread like an African wildfire, that is the prayer of our cheif. Oh that reminds me, you are going to love to hear the stories about the welcoming ceromony they had for us Wednesday night, it was unforgetable.

Take care until next time!

It was wonderful to read a new post. This mom isn't worried, just missing her daughter. So, Angela, Clark said that it is hot there. Have you warmed up yet Sweetie? Did you finally take off your sweatshirt? Aaron misses you and wishes you were here (he's needing big sister advice again)We are praying that your team will be able to see some big animals, specially an elephant or two.
The VBS sounds wonderful, I love how God is using you and this team to minister to the children of Ghana. Jesus saw great value in children, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14
Let Jesus shine threw you as you minister to these little ones. God has a special plan for each one of them and for each of you.
Time for me to get ready for work and school, enjoy the heat over there as I put on my sweater and coat this morning. :-) You are in my thoughts and prayers Keep writing things down to share when you get home.

Love,
Mom
Aaron and Gandalf send their love too.

Hi Team,

I posted a comment but it disappeared so I will post it again...

We are glad you are doing well and surviving the heat! Our Financial Peace small group prayed for you on Wednesday evening. We prayed that your finances will stretch to cover all your needs, that you will have divine appointments, and that you will be safe and protected wherever you go.

Holly: Britney and Deanna say "Hi and want you to know they are praying for you". Take lots of pictures!

The 4H Leaders Clinic is going well. It rained all day and it was cold. At the vacuum store with daddy we had one hand of our UNO game last over an hour with 6 shuffles of the deck for that one hand!

I love you and miss you!

Angela...its almost time for you to get up and start your day. Trust you had a good nights sleep.

I talked with a friend of mine today, he is Ghanaian, he and his wife are from Accra. He was very excited to hear about your ministry in Ghana.

Its midnight almost...I better say good night. Take care and God Bless.

I love reading your posts, and picturing all that you're doing! I know God is doing amazing things in and through you guys! Ashley-- how hot IS it? Are you surviving with no 'freak-outs?'
Kurtis, my yard is seriously calling your name--but I suppose it will just have to wait.
Blessings on you all--I'm praying daily for this great God-adventure that you're on.

Hi Dina and Clark,

Boy, I sure miss you guys! Dad and I went to Magee's last night for a delicious dinner which I will have to make for you when you get home. We played games afterwards. Granny, Gramps, Kerri, Randy, Julian, Jenny and Mercury Lou were also there. It was fun and Kerri won. She was not gracious about it either. haha! :) I am headed to Ocean Shores on Tuesday for a few days of vacation with Granny and Gramps.
Dale Jr. is the Pole Sitter for the Texas race. Mariners lost to Baltimore last night. Rats.

Can hardly wait to hear all the details when you get home of God's works and miracles. VBS sounds like it is a complete success! Wow! Cool!! I have been keeping you both, your Team, and the Ghana people in my prayers constantly. Also a special plea to God for Clark to get to see elephants. I know Clark said he wanted to see just one, but knowing God is bigger than that, my prayer is that Clark will get to see a whole HERD!

Hey, D, how are you sleeping and handling the heat? Hope it has been okay. That has been my special prayer for you.

I love you both very much and am SO PROUD of you.

Love and Hugs to you Both!

Hi Angela...its me again...Its fun think about all the adventures you are on and wondering how you and the rest of the team is getting on. I know God will keep His hand of protection all around you, as God never backs down on the promises He gives to his children.

Tonight (Saturday night) your mom and Aaron and I prepared a West African meal, not a meal from Ghana but from Nigeria ... relatively close to where you are ... only 2 countries away from you. :-) Im not as familiar with Ghanan food as I am with Nigerian. But get this ... Aaron liked it!

Gandalf finally had a chance to meet Cookie, they went for a walk together. Blue wasnt at all interested in going along with them.

So much for this note...hope you are getting enough rest and continuing to have favorable response from the people of Ghana.

God Bless you all!
You remain always in my prayers

Good Morning,
It's Sunday morning here and Aaron and I are getting ready for church. Had to take a moment to send you a quick post. You will all be missed at the service today, we know you are where God has placed you and pray for his continued blessings and protection.

Angela,
Aaron and I enjoyed the African food Linda and I prepared. It was fun to think that it may be similar to what you are eating there. Took Aaron to the music store yesterday, it was fun watching him try out the different instruments. You have to wait till you get home to find out what he decided on. :-) (Smiling)We were also playing Wii sports games with Linda last night, that was so fun, I love you and miss you bunches.

I'm glad to hear that no one has spontaneously burst into flames. Clark, have you lost 10lbs yet?

You all were missed at church today, it sure was weird to go to church by myself.

I miss you Becca, and I'm proud of you. Doug's glad to have some company though.

hey my men of god. I am missing you alot! Today being sunday I was a bit soft, wanting to be with my guys. All is well here, church was great, Andrew taught on salvation and we had several. Noelle's tea party went so well. I am happy, missing you, but happy.
I miss both your hugs and kisses. No one says "I love you" as much as you two. I am so excited to hear the stories, especially from "Prince Charming" (Cam)....
BTW..Happy 17th Cameron! Your gift awaits you and happy 27th anniversary, Steve! Your gift also awaits you and I haven't opened mine yet. Still waiting till the
11th. WHO LOVES YOU? Yep, you're right, it's me...Tina

Hi Angela.

Have you had any fufu yet?
If anyone is interested, Seattle Sonics beat the Denver Nuggets tonight (4/6) in Basketball in double overtime...some outrageous score like 150 to 146...I was there but had to work the doors so not sure of final score.

Your mom mentioned that you were trying to get more blogs then one of the previous teams that did a missions trip, so I try to write to you everyday, but I think the other group might win this competition. Still be assured that you are in the prayers of many. Keep up the good work.

Talk to you tomorrow.
God Bless.
