Air Conditioning!!!!!

We have stumbled out of bush and have returned to Accra for some much needed R&R. Thank you all for your comments, especially from my mother-in-law letting me know that my dad is going to be in town when I get back, that made my day!

Today we went on a jungle hike to the top of the canopy on suspension bridges that will produce some great photos. By the way between the team we currently have over 4000 pictures taken so don't feel like you will miss anything. After the hike we went to slave castle where the slave trade originated and had a very sombering history lesson. I think it was good for the team to learn but I know it made us all think a little about things.

Yesterday we basically just drove south all day! As you could see from Pastor Tina's post we did have our first medical issue with Cameron, but we are praising God that he recovered so quickly. The diagnosis was Meningitous (I have no idea if that was spelled right) but Praise God he has recovered quicker than the doctors said he would and I can't brag enough about how much of a stud he was going through it. Even though he was misrable he never gave up and the whole time we was singing praise songs and calling out to God. I was so impressed with him, Pastor Tina you should be very proud of your little man!

I am so dilerious with sleep deprevation that I can not really think of all the things that I need to post right now. Just know that God has moved in a big way in Ghana, but in a much bigger way in our team. Oh yeah I almost forgot the orphanage trip. I will not get in to all the details, because I think you should hear them from your loved ones, but I will say that I watched as people had something go on in there hearts that will change them for the rest of their lives. Dono you almost ended up with a Ghanian daughter and until I stepped in I almost got a son!

God has been so good to us and we can not wait to share about our trip at missions sunday on the 20th. The testimonies and the stories are going to blow you mind. We will be announcing the dates for next year then also, and I would encourage you all to think about letting God do something in you that will leave its mark for the rest of your life!

Thanks for you prayers, we fly out tomorrow and will be home on Saturday! Mom get the steaks ready were coming home!

Great job bringing in the herd!

Team:

Exceptional job breaking all records and barriers in ministry to children and others. You were birthed for such a time as this.

Sweetheart/Vanessa:

Our God is so good! I am so excited to see you and to just sit back and listen and appreciate your time with God. We could have put the bunk beds back together;^)

I love you more than ever. I feel closer to you now knowing that you have experienced His faithfulness overseas. Now let's get that container filled and shipped!

Alexis and Aidan await your return. Tomorrow we are going riding at the kings and to the Point Defiance Zoo.

To all my fellow parents and friends:

Great job in trusting Him by allowing our loved ones to write new and living chapters in the Bible.

Pastor:

Thank you for your childhood dream of going to Africa. I am sure your uncle is smiling up in heaven. See you all Saturday!

Dono, Alexis, and Aidan

Dear Dina and Clark,

The steaks just came out of the freezer! Saturday evening or Sunday evening, your choice. Baked potatoes with all the trimmings, green salad which I know you won't eat, Clark, since it is a vegetable, and a big thick T-Bone Steak cooked to perfection! Ice cream and strawberries or chocolate sauce for dessert. I have missed you two so much!

I hate to tell you this, Clark, but your Dad went home a couple days ago Tuesday. He was only here for a little over 24 hours checking out the ship. I left town so I didn't hear the results of his inspection.

Saturday evening is NASCAR, I knew you'd be excited about that.

You are coming home to sunshine - but about 40 degrees cooler than Ghana. :):) And cool showers are due on Sunday.

We can hardly wait to see you. We love you both very much and are just so proud of what you and your Team has accomplished these past two weeks.

God's Blessings to you both, and now my prayers are that your flights will all be safe and on time, with no delays or snags.

Love and hugs,
Mommy

Good Morning,
Your time in Africa is coming to a close and you will be stepping on a plane for the long trek back home to the great north west where we awoke to frosty roof-tops and scraping windows again this morning.
Angela, I was so excited to get your email this morning I have missed you so much. Everyone is looking forward to your return tomorrow. We will have spagetti for dinner, a great big tossed salad and garlic bread.
We are praying for safe travel and smooth transitions. God is watching over all of you.
I love you darling and will see you in about about 32 hours. Can hardly wait!
Love & Prayers,
Mom

I don't know if you'll post in Amsterdam, but if you log on please tell Dustie and Vanessa that we are all very excited to see your flight was in early from Accra.

May it be the same from Amsterdam to Detroit. We are praising God for smooth transitions through customs for all.

See you all soon!

Dono, Alexis, and Aidan

The last hello Angela, at least for this missions trip, wondering when you will go on another?
Missions has always been near to my heart and when I see or hear of young people answering that call, I always breath a prayer of thanksgiving.
Welcome Home Angela!!!
Welcome Home Team...although I have never met any of you...you have also remained in my prayers.
