This will be your central Ghana update location!
Hello all! I wanted to throw up a quick post to launch our Ghana team blog. This site is designed for parents and friends to get updates as to how our team is doing and what we are doing. Please know that we will not have access to the internet access every day. So if a day or two passes without a post, that is completely normal and please do not panic or worry about us. I hope that we will be able to post daily but I cannot promise it. You will be able to write comments to my posts if you would like to get a message to someone on the team. It is very encouraging to the team when they receive messages from home. We do ask for your prayers while we are gone. Thank you very much! None of us would be on this trip without you!!

Good Morning,
This is for Angela, Camron and Holly. You are off on a great adventure while the rest of us start Spring Quarter. Have fun and stay safe. I'll be praying for you as I walk around campus.
Hi Tammy and Monica!
Hope your flight was as great as a long flight can be. :-)
I'll be praying that God's love will shine through you both in all you do and say during your time away. And that people will see that and WANT what you have! How awesome that you have the opportunity to do this together!
Love, Susan

May this new adventure bring you closer to God and may His love show through in all that you do.I will be praying for each of you by name throughout my day.I will be asking the Lord to protect you and to bless all that you do for Him. I am so proud of all of you!

For Dina and Clark,
We are praying for you constantly, asking for God's Favor towards you and your Team, His protection and covering, His Abundant Blessings, and that He will open doors of opportunity every where you go.
A parent could ask for nothing more than to have their children doing exactly what God wants them to do. We are so proud of you both.
We have had snow and hail today, and a T-storm right now. Mariners won 5-2.
Sugar, Stormy and Gunnar are doing just fine.
Love and hugs to you both,
Mommy and Daddy
Hi Angela and all your fellow servers in Ghana. Our thoughts & prayers are that you reflect God's glory - in the places and with the people He leads you to. Looking forward to hearing your stories!
Hi Ashley
Last night I was at a restaurant and they had this yummy bread that I thought I would take home to you-- but then I remembered you weren't there to eat it!! I guess I'll just have to eat it all myself... :-)
I'm praying for all of you, and believing God to do great things in and through you!
Angela, I trust you've had enough rest by the time you read this post, as jet lag is no fun.I hope your flight was exciting and not to many turbulants. Let me remind you of a couple things; if you genuinly show an interest in the lives of the people you meet and you spend your time praying that God uses you to touch those lives...you will see things accomplished for the Kingdom. Try your best to keep a journal of all the exciting things you do and places you go...so many things happen that it runs together sometimes. Remember, you are in my prayers.

Angela,
Gandalf was so funny last night, he ran threw every room four times looking for you. Then he plopped down in the hall and sighed, staring up at Aaron and I with those big brown eyes of his.
I talked to Kim, you have the weekend of the 26th off. Kim, Cee and Kelli all send you happy thoughts.
Aaron and I are praying for all of you. We love you Angela!
Blessings,
Mom
Angela! What an amazing adventure you are on. Seek after what the Lord wants to show you, what He is speaking to your heart about. He is preparing you for beautiful and wonderful things.
Love, Janis
Dina and Clark - we are praying for you and the team..we hope you see an elephant and we want to hear all about your time at the orphanage! We love you - Marcus says "have a good trip".

Love your big sis,

Hi Guys! Soooo glad to hear you arrived safely with only a few minor glitches!! Our God will work miracles for all of you. After reading Clark's latest blog concerning your financial issues, the Lord gave me Joshua 1:9 for you. "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage: be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." Honestly, that just give gives me something else to pray over you.....I love a good challenge...'cause my God is Awesome!!Love to all. Kari
Hey! Isn't April 2nd Tammy's 40th Birthday? Happy Birthday my dear friend! Erin and I have plans for you... :-)
Glad you made it ok.
Traveling mercies to you as you continue this journey.
Love, Susan
Angela,
Aaron and I have spent another exciting evening doing homework. He is making a cardboard model of his dream house for school. Spring quarter is off to an interesting start.
Do you remember the verse that has kept me going the last several years? Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you." declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God knows all about your finances ahead of time and he already has a plan. Keep walking in faith and pay attention to what the Holy Spirit is doing. The Lord has great blessing in store for each member of this team. Continue to trust God to be God.
I love you Angel, and miss you bunches.
Mom
Aaron wants to know if you are having fun???
I want to wish a Happy 40th Birthday to my wonderful wife Tammy....I very much look forward to celebrating your life with our family and friends when you return home.
Lucas and I already miss you and Monica a great deal! I hope the weather hasn't been too hot since you arrived in Africa...it has been getting a little warmer here.
Love,
Bob
Holly,
So where the heck is my techie when I need her to show me how to post a comment. She's half way around the world....but doing the Lords work. I'm proud of you honey. You are in my prayers constantly. Love the pictures from Sea Tac...thank you Allison.
45 minutes and this is all the space I get...oh well.
Share His love unabashedly, smile often, serve humbly, and praise Him for the opportunity you have.
God Bless and Keep you all!
Hi Holly,
My first blog and you wouldn't believe the problems I'm having, well I guess you would. I think and pray for you and the team everyday. Shelby and the cats miss you. The're wearing their sad face and hanging out at your bedroom door. Rachel and I are having fun wearing your clothes and jewelry and DRIVING everywhere! I'm sooooo proud of you and I couldn't have a better daughter!
Love you lots,
Mom
fHey team! Sounds like the Lord has opened many doors and you have boldly passed through. We are proud of your efforts and thankful of your courage! I always think after a journey that one day when I see Him face to face He will say "Well done you good and faithful servant for the work of mine you did while in Ghana!" Further that I'll meet people who were effected on these trips. Keep up the good work of the Lord!!! Clark give the Bishop a big hug for me and say hello to his team. As your safari continues trust in Him always. P.S. any word of Edith? Rick and Karen
Hi Holly,

Love Mom
